The Chairman of Consumer Rights Awareness Advancement Advocacy Initiative(CRAAAI),Moses Igbrude has called for better food habits for the masses of the world,saying what the poor need is good and balanced diet that can ensure their health and free them from diseases.
The CRAAAI helmsman who declared this in celebration of the world Food Day 2019 Lagos said that governments of the world shouled ensure aboundance of healthy food to avoid the dangers of hidden hunger among the population.
He said CRAAAI would be dedicating year 2020 to battle the crisis in our food sector by organising lectures,seminar and out-reaches to educate Nigerians and others on the vagaries of unbalanced diet,enrichment of food products,food fortification and what have you.
He therefore called on all and sundry emphasize healthy food and nutrition ,saying that is the only way we can achieve a healthy population.
He condemned the nation attack on Nigerian farmers nationwide by herdsmen and urged the FG and other levels of government to stop the canage which he said is against the economic survival of Nigeria and others.
