Christian Churches should deploy cutting edge technology to Succeed in this era of globalisation and digitalisation,Professor Umar Danfulani of the University of Jos ,Plateau State have said.

The Prof who was speaking on the occasion of Redeemed Christian Bible College annual conference tagged “African pentecostalism:Probity and Accountability”said that God is the maker of all things and so supports technology and development.

The event was graced by RCCG National Overseer,Pastor J.J.Odeyemi,Assistant General Overseer Admin &Personnel,Pastor Dayo Adesola,Dr Corey Williams of Leiden University Netherlands,Prof J.K.Ayetayo of University of Ibadan,Provost of the Colege,Dr Adelabu among others.

In his contribution,The National Overseer said the RCBC is doing well to improve knowledge in the Church and asked it not to rest on its oars,predicting that its yearly conference will become a melting point of credible ideas globally speaking.

He thanked the College for the book launched at the event entitled”New Faces of African Pentecostalism” and pledged his support by buying 50 copies.As Well Pastor Adesola supported the event by buying 70 copies of the book.

Dr Williams in his lecture on probity and accountability suggested the christian churches globally should restructure their organogram in such a way and manner that the interests of probity and accountability could be advanced.

He said in his studies among African churches in America were sexual abuse are preponderance show that their structures were undemocratic or rather despotic.This makes it difficult for whistle blowers to function when the law is being broken by the head of the structure as there is no alternative person to report to by victims.

The Provost of the institution thanked all those who graced the occasion,saying that the proceeds from the book will go directly to the advancement of the College as the writers have wived their rights to same.The book is dedicated to the General Overseer of RCCG,Pastor E.A.Adeboye
